The beach had been set up, perfectly. The water was crisp and cool for those that enjoyed the surf, the beach was littered with large, flat rocks for those that enjoyed the sun and a nearby cave stood ready for all that enjoyed the shadows of night. Truly, no expense had been sparred getting the coast-side location ready for what was to come.
They arrived from all over, using whatever means of transport they had available; by land, by sea, by air and from underground. A select few even seemed to materialize out of nowhere. Yes, this week in paradise was to be a week that most of these reptiles would never forget and they were all quite looking forward to it.
From the ocean, one beast emerged. He looked around, and could see that he was one of the first ones to arrive, and decided to settle in. He was an odd one, that was for sure. Didn’t look as much like the rest of his species as he once had, but he was delighted to be here, spending time with others of his kind (and this is saying something, for this creature was hardly ever delighted.) He walked onto the beach and a little way up the shore, when he saw something odd poking out of the sand. What was it? It was... blinking? The strange creature decided to investigate. As he approached it, he heard something. Someone was nearby. The creature only realized a second too late that the whole thing had been a trap.
KA-BOOM!
Mutt is dead. He was the Mock Turtle (Town/Alice in Wonderland), unfortunate creature that is no longer to be mocked. Also known as Magnito.
Day 1 starts now!

This game is opening on a vacation weekend, which is going to hamper participation. But I would hate to see the Mafia get essentially a free pass into Night 1 because this day peters out...

So, onto the actual game. Who would be the anti-reptile forces? Spiders? I got a Trap-Door Spider feel from the Night 0 kill.

As of now, the sum total of productivity for today has been 15 posts of "checking in" and even less useful chatter. But the value of this day could be turned around with just another vote or two. |
