Night 8

The crow was flying through the night, looking for a target. The little girl wasn’t that hard to spot, being the only little girl in a cave full of dragons. No, this should be exceptionally easy.
But the crow was both right and wrong. The girl was not hard to find, but this wouldn’t be easy. The crow did what the crow was good at. It opened its beak and engulfed the little girl in flame. But after the smoke cleared, the girl remained standing.
“You’re not the first one to try that” said the girl with a laugh. “But that was mighty impressive.”
“How did you live? No one survives my fire?”
“Oh... you talk too. You are a strange bird”
“I’m actually a dragon”
“Really?”
“The fire wasn’t enough of a show?”
“No... you still look like a crow to me”
“Alright then...” said the crow as she took a huge breath and filled the cave again.
But this had all been part of the girl’s plan. For, it appeared she was fireproof. Sure, the fire burnt her clothes to cinders, but she remained unharmed. The heat did not affect her. But it did burn up all the oxygen in the room. And even dragon-crows need to breathe. The crow passed out and the girl carried it off.

The green skinned woman gathered the balls into a circle. Tired of looking for them, she decided the easiest way to get them was to do so magically. When they were assembled, the great dragon appeared in the sky above her.
“What is your wish?” asked the great dragon.
“Your DEATH” smiled the green skinned woman as green flames ensnared the ancient one.

Night 8 is over.

Rose is dead. He was Clara (Town/Fables), dragon turned crow, also known as Jerry_Damage01.

Iris is dead. He was Shenron (Town/Dragon Ball Z), keeper of a game mechanic that didn’t really work out. Oh well. Also known as malakim2099.

All Dragon Balls have turned to stone and are now useless.

6 players remain, 4 is a majority

So, Daffodil is either immune to a lynch or needed a 2/3 majority and is also apparently immune to Nightkills. This coupled with a lynch surviving Don and a town princess seem to be the reason why we're going to lose, despite the fact that we've had what should be several "good" lynches/vig hits in a row.

Yeah, pretty pissed.

So, "doctor", why exactly did Rose die last night? Let me guess, you "doctored" someone else?

I advise townies to not vote for anyone until the unclaimed people claim.

Either he needed a 2/3 majority or he was immune to one lynch. I'm assuming that Rose tried to kill him last night and failed. I suppose we could try again, but I'd like to hear from Lady Slipper first.

I want to hear more from Dandy...why the heck wasn't Rose protected? I find that power hard to digest. I think Malificent is out there, it is him, and he claimed Mushu, another Disney character, as a back up claim.

i think rose saw the failed lynch and clearly went after him/her.

i also think that dandelion the "doctor/misdirector" is almost certainly just a mafioso misdirector, because why NOT protect Rose?

then again, at least dandelion said something. all we have from lady slipper is "im smaug".

i agree with lotus. wait for info on lady slipper. if we dont get either the SK or the mafioso today we are pretty much certainly boned.

An unlynchable SKer is not going to happen because there is no way for us to win.

Hence, I think he had a one shot and we can get him today if all else fails and we have nothing else.

Otherwise, we have Dandy or Slipper, and right now I am leaning towards Dandy over slipper.

(or they both could be bad and we need to get rid of them both).

oh, and if dandy is the mafia misdirector, it is probably safe to assume that he/she performed the night kill instead of misdirection, which is why i think that daffo is the SK.

in otherwords, i dont think he tried to kill daffo and was misdirected to someone else.

at least, we have to HOPE that, because if there are two mafiosos left it is pretty hopeless anyhow.

Look, I didn't tell you about the lynch-avoidance because THIS is how you would react. We established early on that anyone who would survive a lynch attempt was apparently scum and I didn't want to condemn myself.

But I am actually a townie. How do you guys actually know I'm scum based off one lynch survival?

I think Daffy is bad and needs to go but I want to hear from others about Slipper and Dandy.

Ok, so:

Lilac--Naive cop
Lotus--Guide
Mistletoe--hider

Dandelion--claims doctor/misdirector (probable scum)
Daffodil--Serial Killer
Lady Slipper--claims Smaug (no power claim, said nothing yesterday)

If Lady Slipper and Dandelion are both scum, then we're effed. I think at this point it's mathematically impossible for the town to win.

Hopefully LS is a townie with a useful power.

I didn't post my power yesterday because by time I got on we already had enough votes for a lynch. didn't see the point in telling all my info to the mafia just before night.

I am Smaug from the Hobbit.

I have people ask me a riddle. Many players will be able to support providing a riddle.

If I answer said riddle correctly I can misdirect them.

List of targets and results

1: Hydrangea my action failed
2: Forget-Me-Not - Answered correctly
3: Bluebell - Answered correctly
4: Lotus - Was given credit as being correct as the questions was not a riddle but paradox that was more of a philosophical debate
5: Sunflower - Answered incorrectly
6: Iris - Answered incorrectly
7: Bluebell - Did not receive riddle as my target was dead.
8: Daffodil - Answered incorrectly


when this is all done I will post all the riddles I receive. I would love to get the answered to the ones I had wrong.

Smaug is believable from a claim standpoint because well...our mod loves the Hobbit.

Smaug's weakness — which we are told by Tolkien is common among dragons — is that he enjoys riddles and cannot resist the urge to uncover them — although he has further strength in his abilities to give very accurate guesses and to keep what information he does uncover to himself. In common with Tolkien's other dragons (such as Glaurung) Smaug has power of hypnosis using his eyes; every time he looks towards the unseen Bilbo, he puts him "in grievous danger of falling under the dragon's spell", and makes him suddenly want to tell him everything. The eyes "rove" from side to side in search of him, however Bilbo is invisible with the help of the One Ring at the time and the impact of their power does not consume his mind completely. Smaug does, however, possess what is described as "quite an overwhelming personality", as well as a dry, if cruel, sense of humour, so that aside from coming close to making Bilbo betray his friends, he also causes him to temporarily believe that the dwarves are trying to swindle him out of his share of the treasure and that it would be impossible for them to remove it all even if they allowed him some.
