Well, I didn't do much early, but at the end I nailed the last three mafia members. My mantra-- Teal, Orange, Brown. I'm going to track voting records in all games from now on-- so useful.
Wish I could have made it one more day.
I feel vindicated for my Brown vote-- I popped on when I had limited access, looked to see who had helped lynch turq other than myself and Red (who was dead by then) and came up with Brown. Nearly got me killed, but he was Mafia after all!
I really did sign off before reading Red's post, and would have voted Yellow (and hammered him) if I had. What a difference a few minutes would have made.

Oh well, the people I wanted to win, won. Seriously, Pink and Black, you guys were the ones I wanted to win because Pink, you posted. I am sorry, but Grey and Beige didn;t participate until the end. Pink, you were there from the beginning and we kept misdirecting you.
Black, you survived because we decided we could get you lynched versus having you killed. But you got two of us so you decided to win.
Beige - sorry man, but you came in too late game.

Mafia:
Dear Mafia, the first thing you will notice when you compare your roles is that you do not have a don. Your first responsibility is to select someone to be in charge. Remember that whoever you send to make the kill will not be able to use their power that night or the following day (if they have a day power). Good luck.
1) Brown/HavokandChaos: Ms. Scarlet (Clue Mafia) – You are Ms. Scarlet, seductive young woman, murder suspect and member of the Clue Mafia. If you ever appear in the write up, you will be identified as a young woman in a red dress. Your weapon of choice is the Candle Stick, and this will be your murder weapon if you make the kill. If you do not make the kill, you can use the candle light to watch what people are doing in the middle of the night. You are a power cop. You win when your mafia dominates the town.
2) Yellow/Grinner: Mrs. White (Clue Mafia) – You are Mrs. White, elderly housekeeper, murder suspect and member of the Clue Mafia. If you ever appear in the write up, you will be identified as an elderly woman in black and white. Your weapon of choice is the Rope, and this will be your murder weapon if you make the kill. If you do not make the kill, you can use the rope to tie someone up, role blocking them for the night. You win when your mafia dominates the town.
3) Green/get_1: Mrs. Peacock (Clue Mafia) – You are Mrs. Peacock, high society woman, murder suspect and member of the Clue Mafia. If you ever appear in the write up, you will be identified as a woman in a blue dress. Your weapon of choice is the Knife, and this will be your murder weapon if you make the kill. If you do not make the kill, you can use your high society status to influence the vote. During the next day, you may PM me the name of a player and who you want them to vote for, and their vote will automatically be counted as such. You win when your mafia dominates the town.
4) Orange/MSU: Col. Mustard (Clue Mafia) – You are Col. Mustard, big game hunter, murder suspect and member of the Clue Mafia. If you ever appear in the write up, you will be identified as an elderly man in safari gear. Your weapon of choice is the Wrench, and this will be your murder weapon if you make the kill. If you do not make the kill, you may use your army training to protect a fellow mafia member from death that night. You win when your mafia dominates the town.
5) Gold/loganspeedo (replaced pbdeberry): Prof. Plumb (Clue Mafia) – You are Prof. Plumb, intellectual, murder suspect and member of the Clue Mafia. If you ever appear in the write up, you will be identified as a young man in a purple suit. Your weapon of choice is the Revolver, and this will be your murder weapon if you make the kill. If you do not make the kill, you may hold someone at gunpoint, silencing them for the next day phase. You win when your mafia dominates the town.
6) Teal/Truffle Shuffle: Mr. Green (Clue Mafia) – You are Mr. Green, business man, murder suspect and member of the Clue Mafia. If you ever appear in the write up, you will be identified as a man in a green suit. Your weapon of choice is the Lead Pipe, and this will be your murder weapon if you make the kill. If you do not make the kill, you may hit someone lightly of the head with it, misdirecting them to a random target. You win when your mafia dominates the town.
Independent:
7) Indigo/Rokk_Krinn: Armies of the World (Serial Killer/Risk) – You are the worlds armies from the game Risk, and you are the serial killer. Each night, you must choose someone to kill. To help you out, you get two advantages. Firstly, you come up as town if investigated. Secondly, at any point in the game, you may send me 3 role claims that you are thinking of using for yourself. I will notify you of the one that is least likely to get you lynched (so if one of those rolls is already in the game, you won’t get called on it). If all three claims that you pick are characters in the game already, I will inform you of that.
Town:
8) Beige/Ignatz_Mouse: Horse and Rider (Town/Monopoly) – From the game Monopoly, you are the horse and rider piece. Since you represent Both the horse and the man, when you vote, your lynch vote counts as double. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
9) Turquoise/lonewolfben: Thimble (Town/Monopoly) – You are the famous Thimble from Monopoly. Your presence as a playing piece in the game is confusing to some. Especially the younger generation that don’t know what a thimble is. As such, you are a misdirector. You may target someone at night and have their target randomized. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
10) Red/JackofHearts2005: Cannon (Town/Monopoly) – You are the Cannon from Monopoly. A weapon with, in this game at least, with unlimited ammo. Each night you may target someone, if you wish, and blow them up, removing them from the game. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
11) Silver/sstralkowski: Scottie Dog (Town/Monopoly) – You are the Dog from the game Monopoly. You have a keen nose that you can use to sniff out evil. You are the town cop. Each night you may target someone and find out what their alignment is. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
12) Black/madslaust: Top Hat (Town/Monopoly) – You are the Top Hat, a playing piece from Monopoly. You are a magician’s hat and thus have a large bag of tricks. You are a Jack of All Trades. At the beginning of each night, I will PM you a power which you can then use if you want on another player. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
13) White/malakim2099: Yellow Car (Town/Life) – You are the Yellow Car from the Game of Life. Well, more specifically, you are the little blue man that drives the Yellow car. You are the town bus driver. Each night, you may target two players to pick up in your yellow car and switch their places. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
14) Magneta/Spikerdude: Green Car (Town/Life) – You are the Green Car from the Game of Life. Well, more specifically, you are the little pink woman that drives the Green car. Each night, you may pick someone up in your car. There, they will be role blocked and protected from hard. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
15) Maroon/anonym0use: Mouse (Town/Mouse Trap) – You are the sneaky little Mouse from the game Mouse Trap. Always in search of cheese, each night, you may pick someone and search their room for cheese. If the room belongs to town, you will be immune from night kills. If the room belongs to mafia, you will be killed. You may not pick the same room two consecutive times. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
16) Blue/Shadow40: Red Child (Town/Candy Land) – You are the red child, a little kid just looking for Candy. As a child, you have no powers, but you do have a brother. You may communicate with your sibling, the Blue Child via PM at any time. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
17) Grey/Antipathy: Blue Child (Town/Candy Land) – You are the blue child, a little kid just looking for Candy. As a child, you have no powers, but you do have a sister. You may communicate with your sibling, the Red Child via PM at any time. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
18) Aqua/The Boyblunder: Poopsie, the Cat (Town/13 Dead End Drive) – You are Poopsie, spoiled fluffy white cat from the game 13 Dead End Drive. As a cat, you can easily sneak around unnoticed, and thus, can spy on the activities of others. You are the town reverse tracker. Each night, you may target someone and see who else targeted them. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
19) Pink/Reibello: Lulu, the Best Friend (Town/13 Dead End Drive) – You are Lulu, neighbourhood gossip and nosey old woman from the game 13 Dead End Drive. You think it is your job to know what everyone is up to. Thus, you are the town tracker. Each night, you may target someone and see who they targeted. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.
20) Purple/m_a_caque: Charity, the Doctor (Town/13 Dead End Drive) – You are Charity, well respected physician from the game 13 Dead End Drive. As such, you are the town doctor. Each night, you may target someone and protect them from night kills that night. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.

Being out of town, but also before that I was pretty hammered with prep and couldn't follow the game like I wanted to. In all honesty, I punished Grey because he never participated until the end...I hate that. I know I should have taken out Beige early, but sorry Grey, you were quiet until the end. I took you out for that reason alone. It felt satisfying to make sure you didn;t win this game when, in my mind, you didn;t deserve it. Pink deserves it! So does Red, but we had to get rid of him.

I liked this game a lot. Somehow I knew that Silver was not only Stan, but also that he was a really paranoid town, not mafia. And I also knew that Red was JoH as soon as he and I shot Marx Bros quotes back and forth.
I also find it funny that I butted heads with Silver the most, when his role was the dog, and mine was Poopsie the Cat.

Huh. Orange was MSU? I was convinced that Orange was Truffle. Or KitsuShel. An individual of the XX-chromosome persuasion. Imagine my surprise to see that the inactive Teal was actually Truffle... I think Brown (H&C), our power cop, misread/didn't understand your power. He told us that you were a cop that automatically killed any mafia member you targeted. Obviously that made us go "Nuh-uh, he dies immediately!" I'm sure everyone had sstralkowski/Silver pegged as soon as he did his whole "You can lynch me but I'm not going down without a fight" thing. ...and Red. We knew he was a vig after Night 1. I bet it was fun for JoH2005 to sit there scratching his head, wondering why the people he targeted never died. ;D |
